Hum on “mm” or “ng” — closed lips give a steady, harmonic-rich tone that the pitch tracker locks onto easily.
Anything you sing or play monophonically works too: whistling, a kazoo, a recorder.
Vibrato is fine — Note stability keeps it from retriggering the piano.
If notes are missing, raise Sensitivity. If background noise triggers notes, lower it.
Your range is probably 1–2 octaves. Use Octave shift to land in a nicer part of the keyboard.
